The Four Corners area offers several archaeological remains and has many iconic images. Ancient Anasazi villages dominated this entire region a thousand years ago. Today it is largely the domain of the Navajo.
We will start by the Grand Canyon, that amazing canyon carved by the Colorado River and Antelope Canyon, a wonderful sunbathed slot canyon, a kind of natural cathedral carved by the wind and the water.
Then, we will spend some time in Monument Valley, true symbol of the Far West, scenery for a lot of westerns, within the Navajo reserve. Its sandstone monoliths will impress you forever! Navajo guides will take us to places visitors cannot go otherwise.
In Canyon de Chelly National Monument and in Mesa Verde National Park, you will discover impressive cliff dwellings of the Ancient Ones.
Native American ruins and rock art are among our favorite subjects. Thanks to our background in archaelogy, you will be given historical and cultural insights.

La région des Four Corners permet de découvrir de nombreux vestiges archéologiques et par conséquent offre plusieurs opportunités photographiques. Des villages Anasazi dominaient cette région entière voici environ mille ans. Aujourd'hui, c'est en grande partie le domaine des Navajos.
Nous commencerons par le Grand Canyon, cet étonnant canyon taillé par le Colorado et par Antelope Canyon, une magnifique gorge très étroite et tortueuse baignée par les rayons du soleil, une sorte de cathédrale entièrement naturelle, sculptée par le vent et l'eau!
Ensuite, nous séjournerons dans Monument Valley, symbole par excellence du Far West, décor naturel de nombreux westerns, au coeur de la réserve des Indiens Navajos. Dans le Canyon de Chelly et dans le Parc National de Mesa Verde, vous découvrirez les habitations construites par les populations anasazis, vers 1200 de notre ère, à flanc de falaises.
